Well, not really. But I did hold out on starting a blog for a long time (despite my mother’s best efforts at getting me to start one). Part of me still thinks that blogging is a big of an ego trip (because seriously, does anyone but me (and maybe my husband) care that my three-year-old’s daily bit of wisdom today was, “Baby worms do not like to be put in baby birds’ mouths”?). But having recently had a couple of parenting blogs featured on ScaryMommy.com and LiesAboutParenting.com, and seeing the comments about how my “advice” (yes, I put that in quotes) was useful to other moms, I figured maybe someone out there might stumble upon some useful tips here. After all, during my pregnancies and first months as a mother (well, and even now), parenting blogs helped me navigate my new life. So cheers and thanks for visiting!
